The Gophers captured three individual titles at last year's Baldy Castillo Invitational.

Luca Wieland broke his own school record and posted the eighth-highest point total ever by a collegiate athlete to win the 2015 NCAA heptathlon title.

The heptathlon concludes on Saturday with the final three events - the 60-meter hurdles (10:45 a.m. CT), the pole vault (11:30 a.m. CT) and the 1,000 meters (2:00 p.m. CT).

Wieland's mark of 5,787 stands as the Minnesota all-time record in the heptathlon as well as the best performance in the Big Ten this season.

The sophomore was one of two Gophers to earn Big Ten titles last weekend along with Mitchell Hechsel's NCAA-best 600 meter time of 1:16.26.

Dulian served as a two-sport captain this season in men's cross country and men's track & field.

Wieland closed out the weekend in stellar fashion for Minnesota, winning the Big Ten heptathlon title and setting a new school record for the event in the process.

Through five scored events at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, the Gophers hold 17.50 points - tied with Michigan State and trailing Nebraska at 39.50 and Penn State at 33.

The SPIRE Institute will play host to the 2015 Big Ten Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled to begin Friday and run through Saturday.
